How can corn oil be substituted for vegetable oil?

To substitute corn oil for vegetable oil, simply switch the products as no formula is required. The two oils are equally interchangeable in recipes.
Several items can be swapped with vegetable oil in equal proportions to that of the oil. Other types of oil and shortening, such as olive oil, peanut oil and lard are exchanged with equal amounts. For example, 1 cup of vegetable oil equals 1 cup of corn oil, which equals 1 cup of lard or 1 cup of peanut oil.
Some fruits can also be used to replace corn oil in baking recipes. Mashed bananas or applesauce can be switched on a cup-to-cup basis in cookies, muffins and cakes. Plain yogurt is another equivalent swap item for vegetable oil when baking.
