Where can you find death announcements?

Legacy.com allows users to look up death announcements. Visitors to the website can search for obituaries of people by first and last name, as well as any additional details, such as location.

Legacy also allows users to locate newspaper obituaries by state. If a user knows which state the person died in, he can then browse through the state's major newspapers in order to locate the obituaries that were posted recently. However, if the person who is searched for died more than a week prior, it would probably be easier to look him up by his first and last name.
