Where can you find information on Medicare benefits for veterans?

The Medicare Rights Center has a website called MedicareInteractive.org that covers Medicare benefits for veterans. A veteran can have both Medicare and Veterans Affairs benefits, but the two do not work together. For Medicare to cover a veteran's care, it must be received at a Medicare-certified facility.

Depending on the situation, a veteran can use either Medicare Part B or Part D to supplement VA care or drug prescriptions. There may be penalties if it is not done properly.
