Can Limonene be extracted from orange peels?

Limonene can be extracted from orange peels by juicing the orange peel and then distilling away the other components of orange oil. The juicing extraction process creates food grade d-Limonene, which can then be converted into technical grade by steam extraction of the orange peels.
d-Limonene is most often used in both household and industrial cleaning products, because it is a safe chemical that can be diluted with water or used as a powerful solvent for use in cleaning wipes, sprays and liquids. d-Limonene is also used in paint solid production or as a secondary cooling fluid. It also gives products an orange scent.
