Where can you find a list of Ford recalls?

Recalls.gov is the official government resource of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that lists all of the recalls for vehicles and parts sold by the Ford Motor Company. The site has listings of all makes, models and years of all manufacturers that have had recalls issued by the NHSTA.

Additional resources on the website allow vehicle owners to check by specific automobile vehicle identification numbers for any past recall related information. The NHTSA recall procedure requires that all manufacturers take certain steps to inform vehicle owners of product recalls. The protocols also dictate that a free remedy for the recalled item be provided for the customer.
