How can you look up a golf handicap?

A searchable database of members' handicaps is available on the U.S. Golf Association's website. Users can search by the player's username or name and state or province. USGA bases its handicaps on scores reported through the MyScorecard feature.

Golf Canada's website allows users to search for Canadian golfers' handicaps by name or member card number. Other local golf organizations offer their own score reporting and handicap search services for regional players. For example, the Northern California Golf Association tracks scores for players in the northern half of the state and the Southern California Golf Association handles players in the southern half.
