Can you make adjustments to paver sizes?

Pavers can be cut and trimmed to fit the pattern and location of installation in a variety of ways. The tools that are required and the method of cutting is different depending on the material of the paver.

Natural stone, clay and concrete pavers can be cut with a chisel and heavy hammer. After scoring the line of the intended cut with the hammer and chisel, several sharp taps along the line with the chisel will split the paver along the line. Concrete, clay and brick pavers can also be cut with a circular saw fitted with a diamond blade or by using a wet saw. Manual or hydraulic splitters, sometimes called guillotines, can be used to cut concrete, clay and brick pavers.
