How can I make Asian eyelids not hooded?

Reduction or elimination of the epicanthic fold, the small flap of skin at the bridge of the nose that creates a characteristic hooded look, entails submitting to a surgical procedure known as a medical canthoplasty. Multiple techniques exist for this procedure, though all carry risks, such as facial scarring.

According to a paper in Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, one method for reducing the epicanthic fold involves an upper-eyelid crease incision followed by a reshaping of the eyelid. This procedure is reported to be minimally invasive and required follow-up surgery in only 3 percent of the patients included in the sample population.
