You can make an organic weed control with vinegar because it contains acetic acid, which kills plants by draining their leaves of moisture. Vinegar is organic because it is made from apples, grains or grapes and doesn't include man-made chemicals.
To make an organic herbicide, add one tablespoon of dish soap to one gallon of vinegar. Spray the weeds with this solution and most of them should be dead within 24 hours. Vinegar kills all plants, so only apply it to unwanted vegetation. Do not pour the vinegar directly on the soil, as it removes important microorganisms and may make the soil less fertile.
