Can you make Verizon payments by phone?

Verizon payments can be made by phone by dialling *611 from a mobile phone, which gives the caller access to Verizon's Automated Voice System. The caller can also use the call code #PMT to make a payment on her Verizon bill using this system.
Customers paying through the Automated Voice System are required to make their payments using either a credit card, gift card, rebate card or check. Verizon's Automated Voice System can also provide the company's customers with a variety of information through short call codes. Calling #MIN, for example, gives the caller information regarding how many minutes and texts have been used on her account.
