How can you find matric exam results?

The results for the National Senior Certification examinations, commonly known as "matrics," are published in January on the South African government's Department of Basic Education website. To access the results, the student must provide his or her exam number.

A student can also obtain the matric (short for "matriculation") exam results at his or her school or at the center where the exam was taken, via the SMS service offered by SABC Education, or by consulting a major newspaper.

Students take NSC examinations at the completion of secondary education in South Africa, and a passing grade is required to be admitted to a South African University.
