NextMD Patient Portal allows patients to communicate with their doctors through a secure portal, eliminating the need for a phone call. Different hospitals and health centers use this service to improve patient support.

Patients use the portal to access their personal medical information, such as immunization records, lab result cards and visit summaries. Other uses for the portal include requesting medicine refills, making non-urgent appointments and receiving lab test results.
