Can old KitchenAid Mixers be serviced?
By Forinfos - 05/03/2026 - 0 comments
KitchenAid does not offer repair or replacement parts for vintage stand-up mixers like it does with its newer models. However, it may be possible to have an old mixer repaired by a technician who specializes in vintage appliances.
In many cases, standard maintenance and repair — such as is cleaning and oiling the mechanisms, adjusting the beaters, and tightening loose parts — is simple enough for a layman to do with the help of a KitchenAid user's manual or repair guide. This in preferable in respect to the cost of sending an older KitchenAid model to a repair technician, which can run as high as that of buying a new mixer.
