Where can you find old Star Wars toys?

Vintage "Star Wars" toys are available at toy conventions, comic book stores and online sites that specialize in toy collectibles. The original set of "Star Wars" toys was produced in 1978 and featured 12 figures.

The original 12 figures produced by Kenner are known as the 12-back, an extremely rare and highly collectible variant of the figures. Double telescoping light sabers were included with three of the figures, but only to those who received early shipments. Other rare early variants include a Jawa figure that included a vinyl cape, and Han Solo with either a large or small head. A vintage toy still contained in the original packaging is considered much more collectible than a loose figure.
