Where can one access Chilton repair manuals for free?

Chilton repair manuals are not available for free, a user must register and pay a monthly subscription to their website to access the e-books. However there are websites, such as AutoZone, that host other factory service manuals where users can download the PDF format books for free.

AutoZone is one of the few places the offer real factory service manuals for free. On the home page menu there is a section labeled "Repair Guides." Following the link will take the user to a section that requires them to input the type of vehicle they have. Repair guides are available for several types of vehicles including Ford Focus, Honda Accord, Chevrolet Impala, Honda Prelude and Toyota Corolla.
