How can one get Wite-Out off clothes?

Remove a Wite-Out stain from clothing using a combination of WD-40, nail polish remover and a stain remover stick, gel or spray. If the stain is already dried, apply tape to the clothing item, and then rip it away.

1. Apply WD-40

   Cover both sides of the stain with WD-40 until the clothing fully absorbs the spray. Check to see if the stain is becoming loose, and once it begins to come off, completely rinse the stained area.

2. Treat the stain with nail polish remover

   Place the item of clothing on a towel and apply nail polish remover to each side of the stain. Rinse again and repeat the process until the stain is nearly gone.

3. Use a stain remover stick, gel or spray

   Remove any remaining WD-40 with liquid dish soap. Use a stain remover stick, gel or spray to erase whatever is left of the stain. Proceed to launder the clothing normally.
