To find out current propane prices, contact the nearest AmeriGas office. As of 2015, AmeriGas charges customers additional fees for propane delivery and service calls, including a fuel recovery fee and a hazmat and safety compliance fee.

AmeriGas offers several optional payment programs, such as AmeriGuard, AmeriLock or Pre-Buy. For an initial fee, AmeriGuard and AmeriLock allow customers to lock in a propane price for a specified time period. Participants in the AmeriGuard program pay for their propane on a monthly basis, whereas AmeriLock customers pay at delivery. The Pre-Buy program has no initial fee and allows customers to purchase their annual propane in advance at a guaranteed price per gallon.
