Apply for a PACER account. PACER is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information online.
- Access the case index
Navigate to the U.S./Party Case index, a national index search tool.
- Search for a name
Submit a name in the search tool. The resulting report includes the party name, case number and jurisdiction in which the case was filed. It also allows access to the case's docket.
