Paying online is one of three ways a homeowner in Miami can pay property taxes. In addition to paying online, property taxes are payable by mail and in person at the local office, according to the Miami-Dade County website.
To pay property taxes online, the property address and owner's name or account number must be supplied, explains Miami-Dade County. After locating the property records, payments are made with an e-check or credit card. As of 2015, no additional fees accrue for an e-check, while paying with a credit card incurs a fee of 2.32 percent of the total tax bill that is paid.
