Can Pinoy movies be downloaded online for free?

Filipino movies are protected by copyright laws, making them not available to be downloaded for free. Filipino movies are shown at participating theaters through the Asian-Pacific Cinema and the TFC At The Movies. On TV, Pinoy blockbusters, TV series and concerts are aired on the Filipino On Demand channel.

The Filipino On Demand broadcast is available on cable through XFINITY and Cox Communications, on DIRECTV satellite subscription, and on IPTV through Verizon and AT&T U-verse. Other channels that air Filipino movies are the Viva TV Plus channel, which is a part of U-verse's Filipino TV package, and DIRECTV's Cinema One Global. Adding Filipino channels to a basic TV subscription costs at least $7.99 to up to $35.99, as of 2015.
