How can you remove "about:blank" from Internet Explorer?

Browse to the page that you would like to appear instead of "about:blank" in Internet Explorer, for example, www.google.com. Right click on the icon that looks like a house and then click "Add or change homepage." Now click "Use this webpage as your only home page" and click "Yes."

You can set multiple pages to open when you run Internet Explorer. Instead of clicking "Use this webpage as your only home page," click "Add this webpage to your homepage tabs". Do this for every page that you would like to open when you start Internet Explorer; separate tabs will accommodate for each the pages.
