General Electric Factory Service offers service and repair visits that can be scheduled through its website. As of March 2015, simply click on the green Schedule Service Online button to get started.

To find local service for a GE dryer, select the appliance from the drop-down Find Your Local GE Technician box on the right side of the page. The search can then be narrowed further by state.

Work done by a GE technician is covered by a parts and labor warranty. In the event that the technician is unable to make a cost-effective repair, the company offers a $100 voucher toward the purchase of a new GE appliance.
