Where can you find a Roman numeral clock?

Clocks with Roman numerals are common in many stores that sell housewares, such as Bed, Bath and Beyond, Overstock and Big Lots. The varieties available range from wrist watches to huge wall clocks.

While Roman numerals seem pretty standardized now, they varied greatly in both Roman and medieval times. Roman official inscriptions typically preferred additive forms, such that IIII would be used for four instead of IV, or VIIII in place of IX. Many modern Roman numeral clocks still use the IIII as a result of this inconsistency but use IX for nine. Of course, not all clocks use this convention. For example, England's Big Ben uses IV for four and IX for nine.
