Can you run all your kitchen appliances on 220 volts?
By Forinfos - 16/09/2025 - 0 comments
Many kitchen appliances operate at 220 volts, though not all of them do. Printed somewhere on the outside of every appliance near the power cord is the voltage and current requirements. Many appliances run between 220 and 240 volts of AC, as this is the worldwide standard for wall power.
Note that appliances targeting American audiences may not run at 220 volts, as electricity in the United States arrives to the house at 110 volts. However, many American appliances are dual voltage, so they can run at either 220 or 110 volts. Dual-voltages appliances have become increasingly common as manufacturers have become more globalized.
