Scuffs can be removed from vinyl plank flooring, including rubber-based solutions that eliminate the need for soap and water. Scuff marks are just rubber residue themselves and are easy to get rid of by using some common items around the home.

A pencil eraser can help to eradicate smaller scuff marks. When finished, the residue from the eraser needs to be wiped away as that can leave marks of its own. There are also scuff mark eraser products available at retail stores.

A tennis ball can also be used to remove scuff marks from vinyl plank floors if enough pressure is applied. The rubber sole of a tennis shoe may also work.
