Can shingles cause numbness?
By Forinfos - 12/03/2026 - 0 comments
Numbness is one of the first possible signs of shingles along with tingling or burning in or under the skin on one side of the body, states BWell Health Promotion. Other signs of the possible onset of shingles include fever, chills, fatigue, headache and upset stomach.
Several days after the first symptoms develop, groups of small, clear blisters filled with fluid appear on reddened areas of skin, explains BWell Health Promotion. During the next two or three weeks, they turn yellow, form crusts and then begin to fade. Some people experience extreme pain for weeks or months after the blisters heal.
