Where can you get telephone-based medical advice?
By Forinfos - 14/05/2025 - 0 comments
Individuals may be able to get telephone based medical advice from the nurse line provided by their insurance company. Examples of insurance providers that offer a nurse line for medical advice include US Family Health, Cigna and Humana.
Customers who call their insurance provider's nurse line can speak directly with a registered nurse that will ask questions to better understand the patient's symptoms. This information is then used to advise the caller on what steps should be taken. A nurse can also advise whether or not the caller should seek immediate medical attention by visiting an emergency room, as well as tips for treating routine ailments or injuries at home.
