As of 2014, keyless entry has become a standard feature for most automobiles. With keyless entry, a fob on the key chain allows the driver to press a button to unlock the car and sometimes the trunk as well. Most keyless remotes also include a panic button that sets off the car's alarm and lights in case of an emergency. Not every type of remote works with every make of car, however.
