Indiglo is the brand name of Timex's line of watches that use electroluminescence technology. The blue-green color scheme replaced the old mini-corner backlight. Timex introduced Indiglo technology for its Ironman watch line in 1992 and since then has implemented it in other devices, such as the Timex Pedometer Indiglo. Wears must activate the Indiglo nightlight to be able to illuminate the entire watch face in low-light conditions and at nighttime.
