EBay allows users to list used tires for sale on its platform, as of 2015. There are several elements that sellers must include in their listing, including tire brand, model and recall information.

When selling used tires on eBay, suppliers need to add specific elements to their listing, including the brand and model of the tire, such as Goodyear Assurance. Additionally, the tire width, rim diameter, the aspect ratio and the compatible vehicle information need to also be visible in the listing. Furthermore, recall information must be part of the selling information and is available on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, Safercar.gov.
