To go to Wrigley Field by train, take the Chicago Transit Authority Red Line to the Addison station stop. The ballfield is located a half block to the west of the station. Visitors can also get off at Sheridan station, which is a few blocks north of Wrigley Field.
The Chicago Cubs strongly encourages fans to take public transportation to the games. Those traveling to Wrigley Field from the south should take the Red Line toward Howard. Passengers from the north should take the train toward 95th. As of the 2015 season, the Loop-bound Purple Line Express train also makes stops at Sheridan and Addison.
