How can you watch Russian films online?

Russian films are available to watch on Netflix.com, Hulu.com and YouTube.com. The former requires a subscription, whereas the latter two offer films that can be streamed for free.

Hulu.com offers a wide variety of Russian films, some of which are free for streaming and others that require a Hulu Plus subscription. Many classic Russian films from noted filmmakers are available, including "October: Ten Days That Shook the World" by Sergei Eisenstein and "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" by Sergei Parajanov. Hulu's extensive Criterion selection offers such films as "The Cranes Are Flying," "Ballad of a Soldier" and several of Andrei Tarkovsky's most revered works.
