How do you cancel an Amazon Prime account?

To cancel an Amazon Prime account, simply log in to your Amazon account, navigate to Manage Prime Membership, and select End Membership. If you have not completed a Prime order since purchasing your Prime membership, Amazon's policy is to refund your full subscription price, as of January 2015.

1. Log in to Amazon

   Using your account name and password, log in to your Amazon account. Your account name must be a complete email address. Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure you are typing your password in the correct case.

2. Navigate to Your Prime Membership

   Locate the Your Account menu option near the upper right-hand corner of the Web page. Move the mouse, and hover over that menu option. A sub-menu appears. On the sub-menu, select Your Prime Membership to enter the Amazon Prime area of your account profile.

3. Click End Membership

   Locate the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page. Find and click on End Membership in that list of options to cancel your Amazon Prime account.

4. Confirm cancellation

   On the confirmation page, scroll down until you see three options: Continue Membership, Remind Me Later and End Membership. Select End Membership to confirm the cancellation of your Amazon Prime account.
