Are centipedes dangerous?
By Forinfos - 15/04/2025 - 0 comments
Centipede bites are sometimes dangerous to humans, depending on the species involved. Larger species typically pose a greater threat to humans, as they have more powerful claws, while bites from smaller centipedes are less painful. In some cases, a bite from a small centipede might not even break the skin.
Other factors that determine the seriousness of a centipede bite include the age and size of the person and whether he is allergic. Small children may experience more pronounced symptoms than older children and adults. Also, if someone has an allergy to centipedes, he is more likely to suffer from acute symptoms.
