Alison Sweeney plays the role of Samantha Brady on "Days of Our Lives," a soap opera airing on NBC. Cast in 1993, Sweeney has since won six Soap Opera Digest awards for her portrayal, as of 2015.

Sweeney began her career in television at the age of 5, appearing in a commercial for Kodak. Still a young girl, she was cast in episodes of "St. Elsewhere," "Webster" and "Tales from the Darkside" in the 1980s. Though portraying Samantha Brady since 1993, Sweeney first appeared on "Days of Our Lives" in 1987 playing the role of a young Adrienne Johnson in the episode "Flashbacks."
