Does Charter One charge for online banking?

There are no fees for using Charter One's online banking service, but there may be other charges associated with using your bank account's online service.

Online banking service with Charter One is free. Free online services include linking Charter One accounts, transfers between linked accounts, online and automated bill pay, viewing your transaction history and account statements, customer service requests and other basic account functions.

There may be additional charges associated with online actions such as stopping payments, requesting check copies and transferring funds to outside banks. Transferring money to an outside bank incurs a $3 fee, and stopping payment incurs a $35 fee as of April 2015.
