Chest freezers usually include one or two baskets to hold some frozen food, but the remainder of the food stacks into the base, which means that users must move packages around to locate what they need. Chest freezers usually are less expensive than upright freezers of the same size, and their lack of shelves accommodates large cuts of meat or bulky packages.
