How do you choose a company name?

A good company name should be short, easy to remember for the company clients and reflective of products or services that the company offers. Choose a name that is unique.

Brainstorm and list as many names as possible irrespective of how they appear or sound. Discard the longer names to remain with shorter ones, which are easily writable and memorable. Isolate the names with simple spellings from the remaining list, and discard the rest. From the isolated list, select the name that best displays the products or services of the company and one that no other company has used before. One way to know if the name is unique is to inquire at the state's business registrar.
