Katie Couric and Lisa Gastineau are among the people that Chris Botti has dated. In 2005, Botti and Couric separated after dating for about one year. The same year, Botti and Gastineau started dating, and rumors began that she stole him from Couric.

In a 2010 interview with Nuvo Magazine, Botti explained that he and Couric have remained good friends since separating.

Chris Botti is a trumpeter and composer who won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2013. He has also had four number one albums that have reached the top of the Billboard jazz album charts.
