What cities does District 18 of the Texas senate serve?

As of 2015, cities served by District 18 of the Texas Senate include Aransas, Austin, Burleson, Calhoun and Colorado. Other cities include De Witt, Fayette, Goliad, Gonzales and parts of Fort Bend.

District 18 also includes Jackson, Lavaca, Lee, Matagorda and parts of Harris. Rounding out other cities in the district are Nueces, Refugio, Victoria, Waller, Washington and Wharton.

District 18 is represented by Republican Senator Lois Kolkhorst, as of 2015. Kolhorst is a business owner and investor and has served in the senate since 2014, when she was elected in a special election. Prior to her current role in the senate, she served as a house member from 2001 to 2014.
