To clean film or dirt off of headlights, toothpaste and a soft, clean cloth are required. Turtle Wax can also be used to keep the headlights free of film in the future.

Squeeze out a generous amount of toothpaste, and apply it to the headlight fixture. Use a soft, clean cloth to rub the toothpaste around the surface gently, then wipe the toothpaste away completely to reveal clean, shiny headlights. This procedure also helps get rid of scratches on the glass covering. For more long-lasting results, apply some Turtle Wax to the headlights after wiping away all of the toothpaste.
