What is the climate in Asia?

Asia has a wide variety of climates because of its huge size. Asia has some of the coldest places in the world as well as some of the hottest, driest and wettest places.

In some regions of Asia, the bitter cold of the North Pole can be felt, while in other regions, hot and dry climate dominates. There are also regions with a hot and humid climate, just like in the tropics. In fact, the temperature in Asia varies from 100 degrees in some regions to below freezing in other regions. The climate in Asia is largely influenced by the monsoon winds.
