Coco Johnsen is an African-American model born and raised in North Carolina who was a Playboy Cyber Girl of the Week. She spent most of her childhood in foster care and received a scholarship to study abroad in Brazil after graduating from high school at age 17.

Coco Johnsen's modeling career began when a modeling scout discovered her on a subway in New York City. She attended The Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles in 2006 and has her own fashion line, as of 2015. Megan Fox, Mischa Barton and Farrah Fawcett have appeared in her designs. The United Nations sponsored her to represent the United States at the first Mali Fashion Week in 2012.
