What is a coin dispenser?
By Forinfos - 11/05/2026 - 0 comments
A coin dispenser is a device that dishes out coins on demand. Coin dispensers come in both automatic and manual versions, and many areas of business use them.
Automatic coin dispensers are often found in retail settings, hooked to the end of a cash register. When the customer pays in cash, the machine automatically gives out the coin change, while the cashier hands out the bills. This saves a retail establishment 5 to 7 seconds on every cash sale, allowing customers to move through the line more quickly. Mobile cashiers, such as carhops, often wear manual coin dispensers on their belts.
