Does a colonic cause weight loss?
By Forinfos - 27/05/2025 - 0 comments
Colonic hydrotherapy uses water to break up and remove impacted fecal matter from the large intestine. According to North Shore Colonics, most individuals have between 10 and 50 pounds of waste in their colons, so some weight loss does occur once this waste is removed.
A condition called auto-intoxication is also associated with excess fecal matter buildup in the colon, according to North Shore Colonics. This condition occurs when the body absorbs and circulates the toxins in the waste, causing a variety of medical issues, including difficulty losing weight. Once the toxic fecal matter is removed, traditional weight loss methods may be more effective.
