Coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, heart attack, arrhythmia and heart failure are cardiovascular disorders, claims WebMD. Congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathy are also cardiovascular disorders.

Heart valve disease occurs when the valves in the heart fail to open enough to allow blood to flow through it, or when the valves do not properly close, therefore causing blood to leak out. A heart attack occurs when a blood clot prevents the blood from flowing to a certain area in the heart. When a heart beats too fast, too slow or if it skips a beat, it is known as arrhythmia, according to Heart.org. Heart failure occurs when the heart is not pumping blood adequately, resulting in a failure of supplying the needed oxygen and blood for the body.
