What are some common issues with Samsung LCD TVs?

As of 2012, one of the most common issues with Samsung LCD TVs is a power defect that can affect how long it takes the television to turn on and off. The capacitor of these TVs was to blame, and Samsung repaired many of the devices at no charge.
According to CBS Miami, the specific problem was that the capacitor of the TVs had insufficient voltage. This resulted in some TVs taking anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes to turn on. In some cases, the TV would not turn on at all. Samsung encourages consumers who think their TVs are affected to dial 1-800-SAMSUNG.
