Casting for Recovery, First Descents and Camp Good Days offer freebies for cancer patients. Some of the freebies have certain requirements that must be met for the patient to be eligible for the freebie.

Casting for Recovery offers a chance to learn coping skills and meet new friends while learning to fly fish at a weekend retreat. The patient must be a woman with breast cancer to be eligible. First Descents offers a chance to gain confidence with kayaking, rock climbing and even surfing during a free weeklong outdoor program. The cancer patient must be between the ages of 18 and 39 to be eligible. Camp Good Days sponsors free weekend camping trips.
