According to Christian Science Monitor, many automakers include roadside assistance in the warranty of new or used vehicles. Additionally, some credit card companies such as Bank of America offer free roadside assistance to customers.

In a 2012 article Christian Science Monitor also states that many wireless service providers and insurance companies offer roadside assistance plans for anywhere from $1.83 to $4.10 a month. Roadside assistance clubs, such as AAA and Better World Club, offer memberships starting at $50 per year. Also, Allstate's roadside program is pay per service and not limited to just Allstate insurance customers. Towing service is $75 for the first ten miles and $3 per mile for each additional, while all other services are $50.
