What company manufactures Mini Coopers?

In 1961, John Cooper, the British race car driver, modified the stock Mini model, and his performance modifications are what make a Mini Cooper, reports MiniUSA.com. Mini Coopers of the 21st century have higher horsepower, more torque and higher limits on speed than standard Minis. The Oxford Plant, where Mini production began, manufactures nearly 1,000 cars daily. Other models Mini produces include Countryman, Coupe, Paceman and Roadster.
